Cristina Muntean is a journalist with more than 12 years of experience in the Czech and Romanian media. For the last five years she worked for the English language economic magazine Czech Business Weekly (CBW) in Prague, first as a reporter, then as chief reporter and deputy editor in chief. After the CBW closure on May 3, 2010, Cristina acts as a freelancer and independent media consultant. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Journalism and Media Communication Studies, the University of Bucharest, Romania, and holds a master degree in project management from the Romanian National School of Political Sciences and Administration. Currently, she is pursuing her studies with a PhD degree in media economics at the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Charles University in Prague. Cristina speaks Romanian, French, English and Czech.
